I need some who is veru expertise or information on car rims and design?
this is about car rims design, what is safety guild line standards that comply with the usa governments safety standards and as the international safety standards, for the rims is on the right track or not. i know there is three standards "ANSI" and "SAE" and "TS16949" that should comply. what is these three above stands and where do i get the application from or who i go to. for example: dynamic radial fatigue, dynamic cornering fatigue, impact testing, rim flange strengh, torsional fatigue and stress ysis. what is the rules and where do i get these information from. the other question is : which test it should use for the "car/truck/suv, etc... and who can test it? and what is the cost to test the car rims, i'm planning to design my own car rims from soildworks,or cad. the other question what is the best car rims material, with strenght, fatigue, and cost. the other uestion what is the right core size for teh car rims and what is the right size for lug huts, etc.... thanks.
