What are some good excuses to tell your parents to switch out of your homeroom?

My mom doesn't want me to switch out of there, because she says I haven't given her a good reason to. I told her I don't want to be in my homeroom cl, because I don't get along with the people in that cl- they're all stuck-up, and I'm not that type of person and I wouldn't be able to concentrate. She keeps saying I'm not in to school for friends, I'm in school to learn. I've also told her because my teacher is very mean, and has failed a lot of people in the past- she won't budge, and both of those reasons are very true! All of my friends are in another cl and since I'm in middle school (8th grade), you have to get your parent's permission to transfer. Please help ASAP!
