When Palin said of McCain "He knows how to win wars" would this have been a good response?

Palin: "My running mate was a POW and has a long service in the military and knows how to win wars"Biden (my idea): Thank you Mrs. Palin we already know served in Vietnam. We also know that our country not only agrees that that is not war we should have ever been involved in and to say the least did not win. But really, Mrs. Palin? Is there a war you think is won? War is about death and suffering and money.� Our campaign is about preventing those wars. It is not about winning it is about peace.
